My first, and most likely, last attempt at making Ashisogi Jizo. The carving took a fair time and an equal number of blisters! Funnily enough, it seems to have taken a little less time than Zabimaru, despite the carving.
The main body is made out of some kind of African hardwood, and the blades and handle out of redwood softwood.
It's turned out pretty well though, but it certainly is only a display sword and not for cosplay. I made the sections where the blades join the main body too thin and it isn't very sturdy. You can swing it about et al, but if you hit something by accident...
It just needs to be painted (I'm still trying to find the right colour gloss paint) and the handle bound and it's pretty much done. I'll probably get around to finishing it in March time so I'll post the finished product then.
Aw, your last one? 'Least make a sturdier one; that, and follow through with this one.

I made this purely because it seemed to be one of the hardest to make, but I became a big fan of Ashisogi Jizo in making it. Wacky swords are the best
